PocketSAT is engineered to deliver a complete sensing and experimentation workflow—from quick configuration to real-time monitoring and post-analysis—within a compact, edge-enabled platform.

Configure 

PocketSAT is programmed via USB Type-C or wirelessly using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Users can define sensor parameters, control inputs, communication settings, and experiment logic. The ESP32 dual-core processor manages real-time operations while enabling seamless interaction and control.

Deploy 

Once activated, PocketSAT functions as an autonomous sensing unit. Its integrated sensors continuously capture environmental, motion, and optical data, while onboard processing ensures stable and efficient real-time operation in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Transmit & Log 

The inputs are multiplied by their respective weights, summed up, and passed through the wireless tranciever for long range or short high frequency data relay. The same is also stored on device for post-processing on a local system with high-end processing power.

Monitor & Analyze  

Users can monitor live data via the mobile app interface or retrieve stored datasets for detailed analysis. Integrated GPS and real-time clock ensure every data point is accurately time-stamped and location-tagged for precise insights and interpretation.

PocketSAT includes environmental, motion, optical, and interaction sensors such as temperature, humidity, pressure, light, VOC air quality, a 9-axis IMU (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer), microphone, gesture detection, and IR sensing.
