Trial Versions

Anx Labs offers a 30 day unrestricted Trial version of Compass.  To receive a free no-obligation trial, contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will send you the trial version installation.  We also offer free on-site installation services for trial licenses to select customers.  If you are interested in setting up a continuous integration server at your site, we would be happy to discuss a trial of Compass.  

Full Version Licenses

Anx Labs offers Compass for the one time cost of $2,000.  In addition to this one time purchase there are two options for yearly support and upgrade licenses.  By purchasing Compass you have unrestricted use for as long as you use Compass.  Compass comes with the complete source code, thorough documentation, is easy to use and easy to set up.  For some users the one time purchase may be all that is required.  If support or installation guidance is required, Anx Labs offers two 12 month support licenses which provide different levels of product support as well as maintenance and upgrades.  Below is the pricing breakdown for Compass:

Single Purchase Price

The purchase of the Compass Software grants you the right to install Compass on as many computers as you want within your organization for as long as you like.   Compass comes with thorough documentation, including a quick start guide, a reference manual for administrators and a user manual for end users.  Compass is easy to install on nearly all recent Windows computers and linux computers.  The purchase of compass includes the windows, "What's Up" client, the Compass server and the Compass build client for distributed building.  

Upgrade Path

Anx Labs Inc is continually updating compass with feature enhancements, bug fixes, and security patches.  Anx Labs releases a new version or upgrade nearly every month, and Compass continues to improve the development cycles of companies everywhere.  For details on upcomming features please check out our roadmap page.  Many of our upgrades are in direct response to requests from users and we strive to meet the needs of all of our clients.  In addition to seeing regular enhancements to compass, all updates are applied in just a few clicks of the mouse right through the Compass interface. 

A support and upgrade license gives you access to these updates for a full year in addition to our user and technical support. 

If you do not purchase a support license along with your initial purchase of Compass, but wish to upgrade your Compass version, at any point you can purchase an upgrade for $1,500.  This upgrade does not include any support.

12 month Silver Level Support License

With a 12 month Silver Level support license you will receive software security updates, feature enhancements and regular bug fix updates to Compass during the length of your license.  You will also gain access to our developer network which grants access to our forums and our internal bug and feature database.  You also receive direct email, phone and Instant Messenger access to Anx Labs support engineers.

12 month Gold Level Support License

The 12 month Gold Level Support License includes everything in the Silver Level and also includes on-site set up of Compass by an Anx Labs engineer as well as 24/7 phone support and extended on-site support.  For more information on what is provided in the extended on-site support license please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Licensing FAQ

1) How many machines am I allowed to install Compass on once I've purchased a license?
        You may install Compass on as many machines as you like, provided they are all owned by the licensee.  Because Compass distributes builds, this allows you to run compass on as large of a build server network as you want with a single Compass license.

2) Can I purchase a standard use license without purchasing a support license?
       Yes! 

3) With the standard use license, how long can I use Compass?
       Once you have purchased a standard license, you can use Compass for as long as you like. 

4) What payment options do you accept?
       Anx labs accepts credit card transactions, Paypal transactions, wired bank transfers, and mailed check.

5) Do I get access to the source code when I purchase Compass?
       Access to the source code for Compass is granted with the purchase of Compass, following a license structure similar to the GPLlicense in so far as you are free to use the code, but you may not distribute it and any changes you make must be resubmitted to Anx Labs Inc.
