Compass Version1.2
Output Cleanup SettingsThe Compass Server can begin to bloat significantly after months of builds have been executed and the results and output files are all saved off on the Compass Server. In Compass 1.0, users were directed to delete files manually or set up cron jobs to clean up the server. In Compass Version 1.1 we are happy to announce that Compass can clean up after itself and delete old build results and saved output files. The Compass Cleanup Settings set how old of files Compass will delete. There are two categories of output that Compass will delete:
The Compass Cleanup settings allow both of these to be deleted after 7 days, 30 days, or 180 days. The section on the project page looks like the figure below: ![]() Both of the output cleanup settings can be set to never and Compass will store the script and build plan output indefinitely. Anx Labs recommends not deleting output manually as of Compass Version 1.1 because links are maintained throughout the compass web interface to download or view old output that will become unusable. However, broken links are the only consequence so if more fine grain control over when files are deleted from the Compass Server then cron jobs are still an option. Contact Anx Labs support for more information on setting up cron jobs to delete old output with cron jobs.
